HOSPICE CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION 2019

For a suggested donation of £8, John Taylor Hospice will collect your real Christmas trees between 11 and 13 January from your doorstep or workplace in the B23, B24, B72, B73 and B76 areas of Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield. The scheme, in partnership with League of Friends, facilities management company Mitie and public services provider Amey, will raise vital funds to support the work of the hospice.

Make disposing of your tree hassle free with John Taylor Hospice, and book your collection today – www.johntaylorhospice.org.uk/tree

John Taylor Hospice provides specialist end of life care for people living with a terminal illness and their families – both at the hospice in Birmingham and in people’s own homes across the West Midlands.
Community and Events Fundraising Manager Emily Boate said: “Disposing of a real Christmas tree in the New Year can be a hassle - trying to squeeze the tree into the car, spending time queueing at the tip and then finding pine needles in the car for weeks to come!
“With our collection scheme our wonderful volunteers will do all the work for you. Simply book your collection date, pop a tag on your tree and leave it outside before Friday 11 January. We’ll then pick it up and recycle it for you.
Donations for this service will help John Taylor Hospice to continue providing end of life care and support for people living with a terminal illness and their families. ‘We’re a charity and rely heavily upon donations and fundraising to keep all of our services running so we’re really grateful to everyone who books their tree collection with us, and to anyone who gets behind our campaign.’
