Support Groups
The League of Friends is hoping to form a number of local support groups to help with fundraising and would appreciate any offers of help.
The Grange Support Group
The Grange Support Group was formed by bereaved relatives and meets on the last Thursday of the month. The group has an active social programme as well as raising thousands of pounds each year for the League of Friends of the John Taylor Hospice…
The Group has just donated £850.00 to to add to the many thousands raised in previous years.
The group also meets for lunch every second Thursday at 12pm at the Horse & Jockey, Jockey Road, Sutton Coldfield.

The Phoenix Group
The Phoenix Group are a friendly and informal self-help and social bereavement support group which meets between 10.30 am and 12.30pm each month at 72 Grange Road, Erdington, B24 ODF and invite anyone who has suffered a bereavement to come and join them. The group offer support and friendship and they have an active social programme which includes luncheons and days out once a month at different venues.
Their last social outing was a visit to the Lord Mayor’s parlour where the group met with the Lord Mayor and enjoyed a much needed rest and cup of tea after their tour of the council offices.
The Phoenix Group also hold regular coffee mornings to raise funds for the League of Friends for John Taylor Hospice, which are always greatly appreciated.
